Target stock: price cuts cover nearly 2,000 products

Target has lowered prices on nearly 2,000 home, apparel and accessories products. Its Target Circle Deal Days promotion runs October 6–7.

Target Corporation is lowering prices on nearly 2,000 home and apparel and accessories products, according to a September 29 company release. Target said the reductions build on more than 10,000 prices lowered over the past year.

The latest reductions cover women’s, men’s, infant and toddler apparel and shoes, as well as bedding. Target said select apparel items are priced 20 percent or more below last year’s levels, while its refreshed bedding assortment is 15 percent lower on average. Examples include women’s long-sleeve tees at $12, down from $15, and Threshold queen comforters at $69, down from $89.

Target Circle promotion begins October 6

Target Circle Deal Days are scheduled for October 6–7, with members eligible for savings of up to 40 percent on thousands of items across apparel, home decor, beauty, toys and technology, according to a September 15 company release. Target Circle 360 members received early access to select offers beginning October 5.
