In a September 28 Form 8-K, Strategy Inc. reported that it acquired 1,665 bitcoin during the period from September 21 through September 27 for an aggregate purchase price of USD 142.7 million, including fees and expenses. The company said its aggregate bitcoin holdings reached 847,666 as of September 27, with an aggregate purchase price of USD 63.95 billion.
The filing also reported the repurchase of 1,534,530 STRC preferred shares for an aggregate purchase price of USD 151.7 million during the same period. Strategy said net proceeds from MSTR stock sales funded the bitcoin purchases and STRC repurchases.
