In a trading update dated October 1, 2026, SSE said adjusted investment across its regulated networks was around 70 percent higher year over year. Renewable generation output was expected to be around 20 percent higher, with turbine installation at the Dogger Bank B offshore wind project beyond the halfway point.
SSE said adjusted earnings per share for the half-year were expected to be between 64 pence and 68 pence. The company reiterated adjusted EPS guidance of 168 to 193 pence for 2026/27 and 225 to 250 pence for 2029/30. It also expected group capital investment of around £2.5 billion for the half-year and adjusted net debt and hybrid capital of around £11.5 billion.
