AB SKF approves SKF Vertevo distribution
Aktiebolaget SKF said its Extraordinary General Meeting on October 1 resolved to distribute all shares in wholly owned subsidiary SKF Vertevo AB to SKF shareholders. Under the resolution, five SKF Class A shares entitle holders to one SKF Vertevo Class A share, and five SKF Class B shares entitle holders to one SKF Vertevo Class B share, according to PR Newswire.
The meeting authorized SKF’s board to determine the record date, which is expected to be November 27, 2026. The first day of trading in SKF Vertevo shares on Nasdaq Stockholm is expected to be December 1, 2026, while a prospectus is planned for publication in November. SKF also said the Automotive segment will be reported as discontinued operations and as assets and liabilities held for distribution in its third-quarter report, the release said.
