Two U.S. contract announcements
Skanska said it signed an additional contract with Lee Health for a hospital and medical office building in Fort Myers, Florida. The contract is valued at USD 60 million, about SEK 560 million, and is scheduled for inclusion in the company’s U.S. order bookings for the third quarter of 2026. Construction began in June 2024, with completion scheduled for May 2028.
In a separate release, Skanska said it signed a USD 271 million contract, about SEK 2.5 billion, with NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic to construct a new homeport pier at Naval Station Newport in Rhode Island. The project has begun and is anticipated to be completed in March 2030.
