New U.S. technology-facility contract
Skanska AB said in an October 6 press release that it had signed an additional contract with an existing client for a technology facility in the United States. The contract is worth USD 138 million, or about SEK 1.3 billion, and is to be included in the company’s U.S. order bookings for the third quarter of 2026. Work began in April 2026 and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2028, according to Skanska.
Renton high school project
In a separate October 5 release, Skanska AB said it had signed a USD 110 million, or about SEK 1.0 billion, contract with the Renton School District for a new high school in Washington state. The project is designed for 1,600 students, and completion is expected in fall 2029, Skanska said.
