Expanded support across supplier development
The plan was announced at an event hosted by SK hynix Chief Executive Kwak Noh-jung on September 28, 2026, with representatives from about 100 partner companies attending, Yonhap reported.
At the testing and verification stage, SK hynix said it would provide access to infrastructure including production lines. The company also plans to offer low-interest financing through its shared-growth fund and expand consulting to second- and third-tier suppliers, Yonhap reported.
Supplier-payment fund planned at KRW 100 billion
SK hynix plans to double its fund supporting payments to suppliers to KRW 100 billion from KRW 50 billion. The company said its program would cover the supplier relationship from technology development through production and sales, Yonhap reported.
