Renewable electricity agreement

Saint-Gobain said in a regulated press release distributed through WebDisclosure that it had signed a renewable electricity purchase agreement with TotalEnergies for 60 GWh per year to supply the Group’s industrial sites in the United Kingdom.

The agreement is scheduled to take effect in April 2027 and run for five years. Saint-Gobain said it will cover more than 20 percent of its annual electricity consumption in the UK through a long-term commitment backed by guarantees of origin from local renewable assets, according to the company release.

Saint-Gobain also said it has purchased certified renewable electricity in the UK since 2016, covering 100 percent of its operational usage in the country. The company said decarbonized electricity represented 70 percent of its global electricity consumption in 2025, compared with 39 percent in 2021.
