Amprion completes 2026 bond funding

Amprion GmbH said in an EQS Newswire release dated October 5, 2026, that it had issued green bonds with a total volume of EUR 1.50 billion. The transaction comprised two EUR 750.00 million tranches, with maturities of six and 10 years and annual coupons of 4.40 percent and 4.84 percent, respectively.

Amprion said the proceeds would be used exclusively for sustainable projects to expand and upgrade the transmission grid. The bonds are to be listed on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

RWE’s indirect Amprion stake

Amprion’s release said that, subject to completion of its most recent acquisition, RWE holds a majority stake in M 31 Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. Energie KG and therefore has an indirect stake of around 58 percent in Amprion. RWE separately described the increase to around 58 percent in its company newsletter.
