Roche said on October 1 that detailed phase III evERA results published in The New England Journal of Medicine showed that giredestrant plus everolimus improved progression-free survival versus standard endocrine therapy plus everolimus in estrogen receptor-positive advanced breast cancer. In the ESR1-mutated population, median progression-free survival was 10.0 months compared with 5.5 months for the comparator. In the intent-to-treat population, the figures were 8.8 months and 5.5 months, respectively.
Vabysmo real-world study
In a separate October 1 release, Roche presented VOYAGER data at the EURETINA 2026 meeting. The prospective study covers more than 5,000 patients across 28 countries and regions, evaluating Vabysmo in neovascular age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema and retinal vein occlusion. Roche said vision and anatomical outcomes improved or remained stable across the reported cohorts.
