Robinhood expands trading products
In a September 29, 2026 newsroom announcement, Robinhood said it had introduced Robinhood Agents, an in-app artificial-intelligence experience designed to analyze markets, build strategies and trade according to user instructions. The company also announced plans for 24/7 weekend trading in selected U.S. equities, perpetual futures for eligible U.S. customers and earnings contracts tied to company metrics.
The same announcement said more than 150,000 customers had opened agentic trading accounts since the May launch, while agents were using Robinhood’s tools almost 30 million times a day. Robinhood said weekend equity trading was subject to regulatory review and that perpetual futures would be offered through Robinhood Derivatives via Bitstamp.
