Recent Rheinmetall contracts
On September 23, Rheinmetall said its Naval Systems Division had received a multi-year framework agreement from Germany’s Federal Customs Administration for maintenance, repairs and emergency services covering four new LNG-powered customs vessels. The vessels include one 67-meter ship and three 55-meter ships. The agreement covers support during operation and regular maintenance at the vessels’ home berths, according to Rheinmetall.
In a September 14 release, Rheinmetall reported that an international customer had ordered a low five-figure quantity of 155mm artillery projectiles. The contract, recognized in the third quarter of 2026, was valued in the low three-digit millions of euros, with production already under way and completion scheduled for 2027, Rheinmetall said.
