Recent product launch
On September 24, Revvity announced the launch of its GSP T1D 3plex kit, a fully automated, CE-IVDR-certified multiplex autoantibody detection solution designed to identify children at risk of developing type 1 diabetes before symptoms appear. The company said the workflow uses capillary dried blood spots and is processed on its GSP instrument. The kit is initially available in Europe and markets that accept CE IVD-marked products; Revvity said it is not an FDA-cleared device. Revvity also said it would present related solutions at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes meeting in Milan from September 28 through October 2.
Human Cell Design acquisition
In a September 9 announcement, Revvity said it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire France-based Human Cell Design, which develops human cell models and preclinical research solutions for metabolic diseases. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and required regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed. Revvity said the deal would add pancreatic beta cell models to its life sciences portfolio.
