Labor agreement signed

In a September 21, 2026 release, Repsol said it had signed its XI Framework Agreement with the CCOO and UGT unions. The agreement runs through December 31, 2028 and applies to about 14,000 workers in Spain.

The company said the agreement provides for annual salary-table updates based on actual consumer-price inflation. It also includes a nonconsolidable payment equal to 3.00 percent of reference annual salary for variable compensation at the covered companies, along with assistance of up to EUR 1,000.00 a year for eligible employees with disabilities.

Methane compliance warning

Europa Press reported on September 24 that Repsol estimated about 90.00 percent of its crude supply could fail to meet European Union methane-emissions information requirements due to take effect January 1, 2027. The report attributed the warning to Luis Cabra, Repsol's deputy chief executive officer and director general for Energy Transition, who said the company had confirmed compliance for 10.00 percent to 15.00 percent of its crude supplies.
