Rentokil announces SOLitude sale
In a September 22, 2026 release, Rentokil Initial plc said it had agreed to sell SOLitude Lake Management, LLC and its Vertex Aquatic Solutions division to Bain Capital. The proposed transaction carries total consideration of USD 230 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis, with estimated after-tax net cash proceeds of around USD 180 million.
The company said the agreement is subject to Hart-Scott-Rodino clearance and is expected to complete by early fourth quarter 2026. Rentokil Initial also reported that SOLitude generated FY 2025 revenue of USD 112 million and adjusted operating profit of USD 16 million. The release described the disposal as part of the group’s simplification strategy and said the proceeds would support its capital allocation priorities.
