Management transition
In a company release dated September 11, PUMA said Chief Commercial Officer Matthias Baeumer will step down from the Management Board effective September 30, 2026, for personal reasons. CEO Arthur Hoeld will oversee the company’s sales organization and subsidiaries in the interim, and PUMA said Baeumer’s successor would be announced in due course.
The same release said that, from October 1, PUMA’s Management Board is scheduled to comprise Arthur Hoeld, Mark Langer, Maria Valdes and Andreas Hubert until a successor for the CCO position is appointed.
Sports marketing appointment
PUMA also said in a September 9 release that Steve Cecchini will become senior vice president of Sports Marketing on October 1. He will report directly to Hoeld and will be responsible for further developing PUMA’s Sports Marketing organization and managing partnerships with athletes, teams and federations.
