PKO Bank Polski retains economic outlook
In its economic quarterly published on September 29, PKO Bank Polski said it continued to expect the Polish economy to be resilient to the current shock and retained its growth forecasts for 2026 and 2027. The bank also said higher inflation and weaker real-income growth were limiting consumption, while European Union recovery funds were supporting investment. The assessment was published by Centrum Analiz PKO BP.
The report said inflation prospects remained highly uncertain because of commodity prices. It projected that consumer-price inflation could move above 4 percent year over year at the end of 2026 if oil prices remained above USD 100 per barrel. In its base scenario, the bank expected inflation to return to 2 percent year over year at the end of 2027 if oil prices gradually declined. The report also said Poland's central-bank rates could remain unchanged for longer, with rate cuts potentially resuming from mid-2027 if conditions in the Middle East stabilized.
Mobile app update
Separately, PKO Bank Polski's customer information page lists mobile-app version 3.189 for Android and iOS. The update makes the customer number easier to find in the “Your data” section, according to the bank's customer information page, dated October 1, 2026.
