Payment infrastructure modernization
Bank Pekao S.A. selected NCR Atleos’ Authentic payment switching platform as part of a modernization strategy for its card-payment processing infrastructure, according to an NCR Atleos release dated September 17, 2026. Atleos said its platform will support the bank’s card-payment processing operations and future innovation objectives. Bank Pekao CIO and head of IT Maciej Jopyk said the bank chose the platform after an evaluation of its flexibility and payment-modernization capabilities.
POLSTR-linked mortgage products
Bank Pekao announced on September 30, 2026, that it had prepared mortgage products with variable rates based on the POLSTR 1M Compounded Rate. The offer, available from October 1, covers residential mortgages, construction-residential mortgages and family mortgages, according to the bank’s release. The interest rate consists of the reference rate plus the bank’s fixed margin.
Support for business customers
In a separate release dated October 2, 2026, Bank Pekao said it was expanding an educational webinar program for small and midsize businesses and companies in the mid-market segment. Topics include investment financing, European funds, succession in family businesses, digitization and regulatory changes, according to the bank’s release. The bank said it plans additional webinars on construction, food and cosmetics industries.
