Palantir names financial-services chief
In a September 2, 2026 release, Palantir Technologies Inc. said Peter Zaffino will join the company as Global Head of Financial Services, effective January 15, 2027. The company said he will work across its financial-services business, including insurance companies, banks, asset managers, private-equity firms and other financial institutions.
Palantir said Zaffino previously served as chief executive officer and executive chairman of AIG and has more than 30 years of leadership experience in financial services and insurance.
