In a September 30, 2026 press release distributed by GlobeNewswire, Novo Nordisk said new data presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes Annual Meeting 2026 showed that investigational CagriSema changed brain responses to high-calorie food cues in a 52-week functional MRI study. The company said the findings were associated with a 22.4 percent reduction in body weight versus placebo at 52 weeks.
