Fixed Wireless Access transaction completed
Inseego said in an October 1 GlobeNewswire release that it had completed the acquisition of Nokia’s Fixed Wireless Access business. Under the transaction terms and Nokia’s USD 10 million cash investment in Inseego, Nokia received approximately 1.9 million Inseego shares, representing an approximately 11 percent ownership stake.
The same release said Nokia would provide a further USD 10 million cash payment to Inseego by October 15, 2026, to support engineering work on interoperability with certain Nokia technology ecosystems. Separately, Reuters reported on October 1 that Nokia and Iceye planned to develop secure low-Earth-orbit communications systems for governments and defense contractors, with first satellites expected to launch in 2028.
