NetApp announced a strategic collaboration with Supermicro on September 29, 2026, to deliver jointly validated AI infrastructure solutions for large-scale AI factories, enterprise deployments, neoclouds and sovereign AI initiatives. No euro price or percentage change is stated.

The companies said the collaboration combines Supermicro’s AI-optimized compute and rack-scale systems with the NetApp Platform. The planned solutions are intended to support faster deployment, improved GPU utilization, data governance and reduced operational complexity, according to NetApp.
NetApp said the initial implementation will include NetApp Novus Data Director software running on qualified Supermicro servers with NetApp AFF A90 systems as the high-performance ONTAP data layer. The companies also plan to support enterprises using NetApp AIPod with Supermicro for AI training, inference and agentic workloads.
