Green-gas housing agreement
Nedgia, Naturgy’s gas-distribution subsidiary, and Metrovacesa signed a framework agreement on October 1 to promote hybrid energy solutions prepared for natural gas and biomethane in new residential developments. The first phase covers more than 430 homes in Madrid and A Coruña, according to a Naturgy release.
Innovation program
Naturgy also opened the sixth edition of its Connecting Energy program on September 28. The initiative seeks startup projects in areas including energy efficiency, renewable gases, circular economy, sustainable mobility and digitalization. The program offers six months of mentoring and specialized training, with EUR 25,000 in support for one selected project and a EUR 5,000 second prize, according to a company announcement.
