Welsh cable replacement project
In a separate project update, National Grid says it is replacing underground cables between Dinorwig Power Station and its Pentir substation. The company says a temporary road closure between Brynrefail and Dinorwig is in place until early 2027 as part of the work. The project includes three new cable circuits, with routes of 33 kilometers, 21 kilometers and 37 kilometers.
