Marriott highlights Asia Pacific dining trends
On October 6, Marriott International unveiled its Future of Food 2027 report covering food and beverage trends across Asia Pacific excluding China. The report said 95 percent of surveyed properties identified authentic local signature dishes as the strongest trend in their markets. It also reported that 58 percent of properties said average fine-dining experiences lasted between 1.5 and 2 hours.
The report added that 97 percent of surveyed Marriott properties in the region served dishes associated with health and longevity, while 42 percent of Marriott restaurants and bars surveyed reported increased sales of non-alcoholic beverages.
