Governance appointment

In a September 15, 2026 release, Kering said Sophie Maddaloni had been appointed general secretary of the group with immediate effect. She joined Kering's Executive Committee and reports to Jean-Marc Duplaix, the group's chief operating officer.

Kering said Maddaloni is responsible for governance and safeguarding the group's interests. Her remit includes the Legal, Internal Control, Internal Audit and Security departments. She joined Kering in 2017 as Group Tax Director.
