Italian craft academy begins first academic year
Kering said in a company release dated September 30, 2026, that its Kering Accademia per le Eccellenze had launched its first academic year. The program includes more than 40 educational programs, over 1,500 students and seven partner schools across six Italian regions, with support from more than 400 master artisans and professionals.
The academy’s program covers approximately 62,000 hours of training and more than 22,400 hours of internships. Kering said the curriculum includes apparel, menswear tailoring, leather goods and jewelry, as well as modules on technology, artificial intelligence, new materials and sustainability.
