Düsseldorf contract
In a September 16 release, JCDecaux SE said its subsidiary Wall GmbH had been awarded the exclusive advertising contract for the 2-square-meter format in Düsseldorf after a competitive tender. The contract covers public-space advertising and advertising at bus and tram stops operated by Rheinbahn.
JCDecaux said the contract includes 965 bus shelters and 143 freestanding city information panels. The number of digital screens within those panels is expected to increase from 125 to 175.
Nurture program reaches 10-year mark
In a September 15 release, JCDecaux SE said its Nurture program had marked its 10th anniversary at the London Stock Exchange. Launched in the UK in 2016, the program has supported more than 500 high-growth businesses, delivered more than 2,000 campaigns and generated over 30 billion audience impressions, according to the company.
