Intercontinental Exchange announced on September 16 that it had launched a reference data service for private-credit instruments. The company said the service builds on ICE IDs, which are assigned at origination and remain in place throughout an asset’s lifecycle. The offering is designed to support instrument identification, research, market discovery, secondary-market liquidity and benchmarking, according to the company release.

Interest-rate futures activity

In a September 4 release, Intercontinental Exchange reported record open interest of 14.5 million contracts across its interest-rate futures markets on September 2, up 25 percent year over year. Euribor futures open interest reached 5.8 million contracts, while €STR futures open interest reached 3.3 million contracts, the company said.
