Buyback program advances

In a September 29, 2026 release distributed by GlobeNewswire, ING Group said it repurchased 1,300,000 shares during the week of September 21 through September 25 as part of its EUR 1.0 billion share buyback program. The shares were repurchased at an average price of EUR 31.93 for a total of EUR 41,509,042.50.

ING Group said cumulative purchases under the program had reached 28,960,805 shares at an average price of EUR 28.33 and total consideration of EUR 820,511,910.49. The company said 82.05 percent of the program's maximum value had been completed as of the release. The stated purpose of the program is to reduce ING's share capital.
