In its EQS News release, HelloFresh said the back-to-school period did not generate the volume of new customers required to meet its previous outlook. The company said the underperformance was predominantly explained by a more pronounced year-on-year reduction in third-quarter marketing spending compared with the first half.
HelloFresh expects third-quarter 2026 consolidated revenue to decline between 11 percent and 12 percent year over year in constant currency. It expects adjusted EBITDA, also in constant currency, between approximately EUR 45 million and EUR 55 million. The figures are preliminary and unaudited.
For full-year 2026, the company now expects revenue to decline between 9 percent and 11 percent in constant currency, compared with its previous outlook for a decline at the bottom end of the 3 percent to 6 percent range. Its adjusted EBITDA outlook is now EUR 350 million to EUR 370 million, versus the previous range of EUR 375 million to EUR 425 million, according to the release.

HelloFresh said it plans to publish its third-quarter and first-nine-month 2026 financial statements on November 5, 2026. The company noted that final figures may differ from the preliminary indications in the September 24 announcement.
