Recent company developments
In a September 24 release, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen said Austrian printing company Klampfer Druck had installed its Jetfire 50 digital printing system at the end of August. The customer combines digital and offset printing, and the system is integrated into Heidelberg’s digital ecosystem, including equipment, software integration, consumables, service, application consulting and training.
Heidelberger Druckmaschinen also said in a September 21 release that the global integration of manroland sheetfed’s lifecycle and service business was proceeding according to plan. The company expects key implementation steps to be completed within the next 18 months. It said customers would retain existing service relationships while gaining access to Heidelberg’s global sales and service network.
The company identified service, consumables, packaging and digital printing as parts of its broader portfolio. Its release also described the manroland sheetfed integration as part of an effort to expand the service business and strengthen its market position.
