Grant program supports youth sports

On September 3, 2026, Globe Life and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation announced the recipients of the 2026 Globe Life Baseball and Softball Grant Program. The program awarded USD 120,800 to 18 nonprofit organizations across Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma, supporting facility improvements, equipment, uniforms and construction projects, according to the MLB.

The MLB release said the program is in its 15th consecutive year. Since its inception in 2012, it has awarded more than USD 1.4 million to over 165 organizations serving communities across the region.
