On September 15, Gjensidige Forsikring ASA said it would exercise its option to redeem all outstanding bonds under a NOK 1,200 million issue. The redemption was approved by Norway's Financial Supervisory Authority, with settlement scheduled for October 7. Gjensidige Forsikring ASA said the bonds would be repaid at 100 percent of nominal value plus accrued and unpaid interest.
