Restylane reaches 30-year milestone
In a press release dated October 6, 2026, Galderma said it was marking 30 years since Restylane launched in Europe as the first hyaluronic acid injectable. The company said the portfolio has been supported by more than 80 clinical trials, 180 publications, approximately 407,000 patients evaluated for safety and 77 million treatments administered worldwide.
Galderma also highlighted product milestones from 2026, including European Union approval of Restylane Shaype for chin enhancement, approval of a new Restylane syringe in the European Union, the United States and Canada, and U.S. approval of Restylane Volyme for temple hollowing. The release said the portfolio had recently achieved European Union Medical Device Regulation certification for products using its NASHA HD, NASHA and OBT technologies.
Earlier shareholder approvals
In an April 22, 2026 release, Galderma said shareholders had approved all proposals at the company’s annual general meeting, including a gross dividend of CHF 0.35 per dividend-bearing share. Shareholders also approved board elections and the company’s 2025 annual financial statements, non-financial report and compensation report.
