Fortum sets 2027 reporting dates

In a September 17 stock exchange release, Fortum Corporation said it will publish its 2026 Financial Statements Bulletin on February 2, 2027, at approximately 9:00 EET. The company said its Financial Statements and Operating and Financial Review for 2026 will be published during the week beginning February 8, 2027, at the latest.

Fortum also scheduled its 2027 interim reports for April 28, July 20 and October 27, covering the January–March, January–June and January–September periods, respectively. The company said its 2027 Annual General Meeting is planned for March 31, 2027.

Google agreement covers Loviisa capacity

Separately, Fortum said in a September 9 inside-information release that it and Google had signed a 22-year power purchase agreement covering up to 50 percent of the Loviisa nuclear power plant’s capacity. The agreement will start in 2028 with a smaller capacity and reach 50 percent during 2030–2049.

Fortum said the agreement is expected to increase the group’s comparable return on net assets by approximately 1.40 percentage points over time once 50 percent of the plant’s generation capacity is contracted. The companies also signed a memorandum of understanding covering potential new nuclear, renewable-energy and flexibility solutions.
