FICO Direct licensing program
Fair Isaac launched its Mortgage Direct License Program on October 1, 2025, according to the company’s FICO newsroom release. The program allows tri-merge resellers to calculate and distribute FICO Scores directly to customers instead of relying on the three nationwide credit bureaus. FICO said its performance model carries a USD 4.95 royalty fee per score and a USD 33 funded-loan fee per borrower per score, while its per-score-only model maintains a USD 10 fee.
On October 1, 2026, Federal Housing Finance Agency Director William Pulte said on X that he had spoken with FICO CEO Will Lansing “to ensure FICO Direct is approved on our end.” Pulte also said he encouraged FICO to provide pricing for FICO 10T.
