Essity repurchased 425,114 of its own Class B shares between September 28 and October 2, 2026, under the buyback program approved by the company’s board.
Buyback program continues
The purchases were part of Essity’s SEK 3 billion buyback program, which began on May 12, 2026, and is scheduled to run until the 2027 Annual General Meeting at the latest. Essity said the purchases were financed with cash flow from current operations after the ordinary dividend. Following the transactions, the company held 7,630,386 treasury shares as of October 2, 2026. Cision reported that the purchases were conducted on Nasdaq Stockholm by BofA Securities Europe SA on behalf of Essity.
Third-quarter report scheduled
Essity’s investor-relations release states that the company plans to publish its third-quarter 2026 interim report on October 22, 2026, at approximately 7:00 a.m. CET.
