Essity reports latest share repurchases
In a release dated October 5, Essity Aktiebolag (publ) said it repurchased 425,114 of its own Class B shares between September 28 and October 2, 2026, under the buyback program approved by the board. The company said the purchases form part of its SEK 3 billion program, which runs from May 12, 2026, until no later than the 2027 Annual General Meeting.
All purchases were conducted on Nasdaq Stockholm by BofA Securities Europe SA on Essity's behalf. Following the transactions, Essity held 7,630,386 treasury Class B shares as of October 2, 2026. The company reported 681,945,171 shares outstanding, comprising 53,963,041 Class A shares and 627,982,130 Class B shares.
