Epiroc announced on September 9, 2026, that it had inaugurated an expanded manufacturing facility for hydraulic attachment tools in Kalmar, Sweden. The company said the site is designed as a highly automated and scalable production hub for hydraulic breakers used in construction, demolition, quarrying, mining and infrastructure projects. MFN

The building covers more than 8,000 square meters and produces Epiroc's full range of hydraulic breakers, from the SB 52 to the HB 10 000. Epiroc said the expansion followed a decision to consolidate its European hydraulic-attachment production in Sweden, bringing the full breaker range together at one production center. MFN
About 175 people work at the Kalmar facility, including approximately 40 employees added as a result of the expansion. Epiroc President and CEO Helena Hedblom described the facility as an increase in production capacity and part of the company's long-term commitment to customers. MFN
