Enel completes U.S. solar portfolio acquisition
In a release dated October 2, 2026, Enel said Enel S.p.A., through its wholly owned subsidiary Enel Green Power North America Inc., had finalized the acquisition of seven operational photovoltaic plants from a U.S. utility. The portfolio has total installed capacity of approximately 270 MWdc and average output of around 0.4 TWh per year.
The consideration, equivalent to the enterprise value, was approximately USD 140 million. Enel said the transaction would have a positive impact of approximately USD 20 million per year on the Group’s consolidated ordinary EBITDA. The impact on Group net financial debt was approximately USD 180 million, including lease-related debt.
