Enagás said on October 5, 2026, that it had completed the permanent sealing of all 13 wells at the Castor underground storage facility. The company said three plugs were installed in each well and that the estimated total cost of the permanent sealing work was EUR 241 million, pending final certifications. Enagás said the work prepares the facility for the final dismantling phase of its marine and land-based surface installations.
Investment in hydrogen software
