Emerson plans Qatar service center
On September 21, 2026, Emerson announced plans to build a Middle East and Africa Service Center in Qatar’s Umm Alhoul Free Zone. The planned 3,500-square-meter facility is to include the region’s first certified in-country flow calibration lab, measurement instrumentation services, spare-parts distribution, customer training and distributed-control-system staging.
The company said the facility is planned to open in phases. Control-system staging, measurement solutions services, spare-parts inventory and the training center are scheduled to open in December 2026, while the certified flow calibration lab is planned for early 2027.
