DNB raises lending and deposit rates
In a release dated September 28, DNB said it would raise mortgage and deposit interest rates by up to 0.25 percentage point following Norges Bank’s decision to increase its key policy rate by 0.25 percentage point on September 24. DNB said the new rates apply from September 29 for new mortgages and deposits and from November 29 for existing mortgages and deposits. The bank said its best floating mortgage rate for first-time home buyers would remain 5.24 percent, while the BSU deposit rate would be adjusted to 6.60 percent. DNB
Share buyback reaches 0.61 percent
DNB Bank ASA also reported on September 28 that it bought 1,213,670 of its own shares during week 39 at an average price of NOK 317.1066. The bank said cumulative purchases under the current buyback program reached 8,727,212 shares, or 0.61 percent of the company’s shares.
