Los Angeles cable project
In a September 22, 2026 release published by GlobeNewswire, Digital Realty said it plans to develop a cable landing station at its LAX12 data center in Los Angeles in partnership with Assured Communications. The project is in development and is expected to begin supporting cables in 2028.
The facility is designed to provide subsea cable operators with infrastructure for landing and powering systems, alongside access to terrestrial networks, carriers and cloud providers across Digital Realty’s Los Angeles campus, the release said.
