Deutsche Telekom expands Cloudflare collaboration
Deutsche Telekom AG and Cloudflare announced a strategic partnership intended to strengthen the security and resilience of digital infrastructure for enterprises across Europe. Under the collaboration, Deutsche Telekom will expand its enterprise portfolio with Cloudflare security and connectivity solutions. The companies also plan to directly interconnect their networks, giving European organizations access to Cloudflare’s global cloud platform alongside Deutsche Telekom’s infrastructure and services. Deutsche Telekom said its enterprise arm, T-Systems, will strengthen its portfolio with Cloudflare’s connectivity cloud solutions across performance, reliability and security.
The partnership also includes adding Cloudflare solutions designed to protect applications, networks, data and increasingly critical artificial-intelligence workloads. Deutsche Telekom said it will train and certify professionals on the Cloudflare platform to support consulting, implementation, operations and managed security services. The company’s release also described planned cooperation on European security and digital-sovereignty requirements.
