Delta announces autonomous-driving collaboration
Delta Electronics announced on September 29, 2026, a collaboration with NVIDIA to advance smarter, safer and more efficient next-generation autonomous-driving systems. The project combines Delta’s expertise in automotive energy management, xEV powertrain systems, in-vehicle high-performance computing and system integration with NVIDIA Hyperion and the NVIDIA Halos safety system, according to the Delta Electronics release published by PR Newswire.
NVIDIA Hyperion is described as a reference sensor and computing platform for Level 4 autonomous vehicles and robotaxis, combining dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor systems with the NVIDIA Halos safety system. Delta said it plans to integrate AI and high-performance computing capabilities into advanced autonomous-driving functions and use its automotive experience and NVIDIA’s ecosystem to engage customers and partners, the release said.
The release identifies Delta as listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange under code 2308.
