G5 platform enters mass production
CXMT said on September 20, 2026, that its fifth-generation DRAM technology platform had entered mass production. The company said the platform reduced the spacing of key memory-array features to 11.95 nanometers using quadruple patterning. The Business Times reported the company said the platform can produce at least 50 percent more gross chip dies per wafer than its fourth-generation platform.
New LPDDR5X products
CXMT also unveiled two 24-gigabit LPDDR5X products based on the platform. The company said both products were already in mass production and each held 50 percent more data than its previous equivalent products. The Business Times said the products were designed for smartphones and other portable devices.
