Consumers Energy reports faster storm restoration
In a September 22, 2026 release, Consumers Energy said 80 percent of the 340,000 customers affected by March storms were restored within 24 hours. It also reported that 91 percent of the 238,000 customers affected by June tornadoes and damaging winds were restored within 24 hours.
