Budimex stock: consortium selected for Czech D35 highway project

Budimex said on October 6, 2026, that the Czech Ministry of Transport selected as preferred the offer submitted by a consortium including Budimex S.A. for a public-private partnership project covering the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of sections of the D35 highway. The project includes 35.4 kilometers of new highway and the operation and maintenance of another 17 kilometers. D35 consortium and project terms

The consortium consists of Budimex S.A., with a 10% share, Cintra Global B.V. with 30%, Strabag Motorway GmbH with 40% and Invesis BV with 20%. The offer is valued at CZK 71,323,843,913. A Czech special-purpose company is planned to become the concessionaire before the concession agreement is signed, while the agreement requires approval from the Czech government and the Chamber of Deputies.

Budimex Construction Prague s.r.o., a wholly owned Budimex subsidiary, is expected to hold 40% of the construction consortium, with the remaining 60% held by Strabag SIS a.s. The concession is planned to run for 28 years from its effective date. The general construction contract is to be signed no later than seven days before the concession agreement, according to the Budimex filing.
